I don't know, but every part of playing poker is just fun.The bluffing, playing with money, the whole idea of playing a game with cards. On the media and all that we see people playing poker, and it is just soooo nonchalant. I dunno why.

When I play poker I play 7 draw, a variation of 5 draw. I thought why not put how I play up.

Instructions

0. Usually you decide whether you are playing with money, and kind of currency, or not. Lets just say we are playing with money.

1. Give everyone a certain amount of money.

2. Everyone puts in a playing fee (to make sure the pot isn't empty)

3. Deal everyone 7 cards

4. After looking at your cards, discard as many as you like into the discard pile (if you want you can discard all of them). During this you are attempting to create the best poker hand. A poker hand is 5 cards. poker hands

5. You discard as many times as you decide (i usually play twice)

6. The whole reason for having 7 cards is so you can play better hands

7. Once the discarding is done, the actual gambling begins. The first player (left of the dealer) puts in a certain amount of money, based on his hand. If his hand is bad, then he can fold. He loses less money this way. Lets say he bet 5 dollars into the pot. The next player either has to see to that (put in 5 dollars), fold (quit), or raise it. If he raises it, and everyone else sees to it, he shows his cards first.

8. Lets say everyone saw to the 5 dollars. The first player shows his cards, then everyone does. The person with the best hand takes all the money.

note: you only play with 5 of 7 cards. The two extra dont matter.

So yeah, thats it. I just think its cool to play.

But dont get addicted at a casino. (;
